It's Christmas Day!! What a beautiful day it has been! Christmas this year has been different, as we have missed our son Elder Jeff Hansen. We wondered what Jeff's Christmas day was like, as he is a day ahead of us in the Philippines. It is summertime there, so it was probably the hottest Christmas Jeff has ever experienced, not to mention the culture differences. We are so excited to hear from him today, as he didn't call last night, so we are still on stand by waiting for his Christmas call.
In the meantime, we decided to post some video's of fun little toys we received on Christmas! Barry got a wagon this year! Yes, a wagon for hauling stuff, and this little green wagon has a special dumping feature, which was the main attraction for Barry!! He also had a blast riding it down the hills at the park. For me, my trip down the hill wasn't so enjoyable! Raquel and Lindsey also enjoyed their turn in the wagon, although Lindsey did look a little frightened when her Dad pushed the wagon off the curb!
Raquel received a tandem bike this year and she was so excited! We all took our turn riding around the neighborhood with Kell! Lindsey wondered when riding on the back seat who was really steering the bike, was it her or Raquel? Barry and I have laughed about that comment all day!!
We have truly been blessed this Christmas season by having son serving the Lord and being such a great example to all of us!! You Rock, Elder Hansen! We love you so much!! (even if we still don't have any pictures of you in the Philippines!)
