This is Jeff's 2nd email from the MTC. He forgot to tell us that he was made the district leader in his last email and letter. Go figure!! That's our boy!!
Hello from the MTC!!
Ok so email time is definately the most stressful time here at the MTC because they try to force you to be obedient by putting a timer in the screen and like the page took away like 5 mintues to load. if i tried to read all of your emails i would run out of time. Writing snail mail is definately preferred!!
But anyways the MTC is mabuti so far, (mabuti= good) oh and mom hindi mabuti means not good. But yeah i would say my biggest struggle right now is with my companion, he like has ADHD and he pretty much takes everything to the extreme. Not to mention he is very judgemental towards other people. he straight up makes fun of people as we walk around the MTC its hindi mabuti but he promised me he would work on his arrogant comments to other people so were gonng get through this!! but yeah..
The language is coming along good! ive only been here a week and i can pray and testify sa tagalog. Oh and tagalog is a very phoenitc language so since ive been learning it my spelling has gone to crap. I spelled a "C" word with a K the otgher day! lol.. the letter C does not exist in the Tagalog language. Its crazy they are missing like 6 letters. if i wasnt so stressed for time i would tell you what they are but this stupid timer makes it so i cant think at all!!! GRRRR!!! Um lets seee...
OHH! sorry I didnt tell you in my last email but i was made District Leader, can i hear a woop woop!! yeah im the boss man in my district! lol they all listen to me!! It is such an honor to be district leader, its a lot of responsibility like yesterday i had to teach an hour lesson on faith with 30 minutes to prepare lol.. cuz the branch president couldnt teach.. so i was kinda screwed on that one but i just followed the spirit and the lesson whent bomb diggity good!! WE all felt the spirit really strong!
But yeah the verdict for MTC food is SUCKY!! OMG it is horrible... every day for breakfast we have eggs that give you the worst gas and then for lunch its some kind of burger, which is usually half cooked and cold, then for dinner it is some form of chicken.. or pasta (AKA watery noodles). but yeah I eat cuz i have to and not cuz i want to. its hindi mabuti..
None the less i am having a create time here at teh MTC, homesickness is not an issue cuz i have so many people around helping me through and i have the lord on my side!!
Oh and ps we had a teaching appt.. and the lady didnt accept anything we said, she wouldnt even read one verse out of the bible for us it was not good. its where yuo go and the people act out investigators. yeah it was a let down but i was only sad because i was concerned for her salvation. anywas i hve NO TIME LEFT!! AHHHH!!

Elder Bowler actually sent this to her, yet we haven't gotten any pictures from Jeff ! We love to see him with his new missionary name tag!
